“We the people...” although our United States Constitution begins with these famous words, President Trump has determined that these words and the United States Constitution means nothing to him:

Nonpartisan Constitutional Scholars, Constitutional Attorneys and Citizens Across the U.S. Unite to Form This Nonprofit Corporation Citizens Against donald Trump, Inc. (CAT)
CAT is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) (final I.R.S. approval pending) corporation, made up of nonpartisan, constitutional law professors, constitutional attorneys and citizens of our country who believe in “We the people…” and defending our Constitution and the laws of our country from illegal orders and actions by President Trump, members of his Cabinet and any of his appointees or associates.
CAT has been originally incorporated by President James W. Schottel, Jr., a St. Louis attorney who is a long-standing attorney with his own practice, Schottel & Associates, P.C., formed on May 1, 2000.
Mr. Schottel has been fighting for his clients’ Constitutional and Civil Rights for 15-20 years. Mr. Schottel has been a quadriplegic, confined to a wheelchair since March 2, 1991, when he was a paralyzed in a fraternity hazing incident; This incident occurred during his 1st year of college where he was attending on a partial football scholarship. Prior to the injury, Mr. Schottel was the standout starting kicker for the small college Baker University (KS) football team that finished their season with 10 wins to only 2 losses. They made it to the NAIA National Semifinals game as 1 of the top 4 NAIA football teams in the country where the team ended up losing 27-3 and it turned out to be the final game Mr. Schottel would ever kick in. Losing 27-3, the team’s only 3 points happened to be a 44-yard field goal by Mr. Schottel, tying a Baker record for longest field goal in a playoff game tying his own career long (having kicked exactly a 44-yard field goal in high school). An athlete and a competitor all of his life the competitor in him has never left. Mr. Schottel has been known to say, “The use of my legs has been taken away from me, but my brain is fully in tact and now I compete with my brain in drafting documents and in the courtroom.”
After the election, Mr. Schottel anticipated an attack on our Constitution and our democracy. He is a strong believer in "thinking outside the box" in making legal arguments and that, in a rare situation that our country is in now, power comes in numbers. On December 1, 2025, Mr. Schottel formed and incorporated CAT in the State of Missouri.
Mr. Schottel:
Although the State of Missouri has long been a "Red" State, this State has also long been known as the "Show Me State".
Why is that so, you may wonder. A very brief history lesson is in store... There are a few theories that have been floated around for many, many years, but one theory stands out the most and that is:
Missouri's nickname as the "Show Me State" comes from:
Missouri's U.S. Congressman Willard Duncan Vandiver, who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1897 to 1903. During his time as a member of the U.S. House Committee on Naval Affairs., Mr. Vandiver traveled to Philadelphia in 1899 to attend a naval banquet.
During his speech at the naval event, Mr. Vandiver said, "I come from a state that raises corn and cotton and cockleburs and Democrats, and frothy eloquence neither convinces nor satisfies me. I am from Missouri. You have got to show me."
Elon Musk and Trump recently gave a speech on DOGE from the Oval Office on February 11, 2025 making these statements:
TRUMP: "...I’m going to ask Elon to tell you a little bit about it and some of the things that we found which is shocking. Billions and billions of dollars in waste, fraud, and abuse, and I think it’s very important... we found hundreds of millions of dollars worth much more than that in just a short period of time... And we’ve already found billions of dollars, not like a little bit, billions, many billions of dollars. And when you get down to it, it’s going to be probably close to a trillion dollars. "
MUSK: "...what we’re finding is that a bunch of the fraud is not even going to Americans...Again, this is big big numbers. We’re talking about $100 to $200 billion a year. Serious money."
CAT says: "SHOW ME the billions and billions of waste, fraud and abuse not even going to Americans."
CAT will be fighting against Trump’s, his Cabinet’s and his associates’ unconstitutional and illegal orders and actions that violate Federal Law through FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) Requests and litigation. Litigation is costly and the costs of the production of documents through FOIA Requests can add up quickly. CAT will be funded through our small membership fees, merchandise and donations from people who support this important cause to protect our United States Constitution and to save our democracy and our Government from being dismantled, which will cause harm to nearly every citizen of this great United States.
Our organization is nonprofit and funded by “the people”. Please checkout our store for membership information and merchandise information, including CAT T-shirts and CAT Caps.
For anyone who is not interested in becoming a member or purchasing merchandise, but believes in our cause and wants to help, there is no minimum amount and you can donate here.
CAT is a nonprofit corporation formed under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Tax Code and all memberships/purchases of merchandise/donations are tax deductible.
(There are limits on the amounts of tax deductible donations a person can make in a tax year. The amount depends on varying factors of your Adjusted Gross Income to your filing status. We encourage everyone to read the I.R.S.'s page on Charitable contribution deduction, which currently states, "Temporary suspension of limits on charitable contributions". We also encourage you to talk to your tax advisor or attorney.) citizens against trump stop trump
